Certek Group is committed to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring within its business and supply chain. This statement covers the activities of Certek Group Holdco Limited and its subsidiaries and complies with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

The board of Certek Group Holdco Limited has overall responsibility for identifying, assessing, and managing modern slavery risk and responding to any concerns on behalf of Certek Group. The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for day-to-day oversight.

Our structure

Certek Group partners with businesses whose services are rooted in robust compliance, safety and regulatory standards.

Certek Group employs individuals where it has offices in the United Kingdom and globally and operates a streamlined supply chain which includes its finance providers and the suppliers which support Certek Group’s operations, office maintenance and technology infrastructure.

Risk assessment, due diligence and managing risk

Certek Group seeks to implement an appropriate risk-based approach to minimise the risk of modern slavery.

Certek Group expects all its suppliers and companies which it partners with to consider their specific business risks, have in place appropriate control measures and to comply with our values. This includes our recruitment and consideration of our supply chains and investment partners.

  • Suppliers: Certek Group’s suppliers include its finance providers, and the suppliers which support Certek Group’s office maintenance and technology infrastructure, and other suppliers to its group companies.
  • Investment partners: Certek Group conducts due diligence on potential investment partners, which includes asking targeted questions to confirm the ESG policies and procedures in place for managing forced labour risks and to identify any existing concerns or issues within the supply chain.
  • Employees: Potential employees must provide their ‘right to work’ status and pre-employment checks are carried out.
  • Training: Our executive team and senior leadership are responsible for compliance within Certek Group and within their respective group companies. Certek Group will implement induction training into its business for all new employees where our policies, procedures and expectations relating to modern slavery and human rights will be outlined.

Our whistleblowing policy seeks to ensure that all employees and contractors can raise serious concerns which they believe indicate malpractice or wrongdoing within Certek Group, without fear of any disciplinary action or repercussions.
